Role Description

The Junior Software Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining back-end services and tools that support trading, liquidity provision, and market operations. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient code, debugging and resolving software issues, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with senior engineers to improve system performance and reliability. The role also includes contributing to technical documentation, testing new features, and working closely with cross-functional teams to support new market strategies and integrations. The Junior Software Engineer will be expected to learn quickly, follow best practices, and support continuous improvement of the engineering stack.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.

Practical experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming, with C++ or Rust

Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.

Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them in clean, maintainable code.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Ability to work on-site in Singapore, collaborate effectively in a diverse team, and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Interest in financial markets and crypto assets; prior exposure to trading systems or fintech environments is an advantage.
