Overview

Our client is a fast-growing semiconductor manufacturing organisation expanding its operations in Singapore. They are seeking a Principal QMS Engineer to take ownership of key quality systems, certification and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build and shape a QMS environment, rather than simply maintain an established system.

Role

You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the organisation's QMS, partnering closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and Operations.

Key responsibilities include driving ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification, leading internal and external audits, establishing quality policies and procedures, and managing corrective actions and RCA.

You will also own key IATF Core Tools including APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and Control Plans, while coaching teams on quality standards and supporting wider manufacturing improvement initiatives.

Requirements

5+ years' QMS / Quality experience, ideally within semiconductor manufacturing

Degree in Engineering or equivalent

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949

ISO 9001 / IATF auditor certification; VDA 6.3 advantageous

Hands-on knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and Control Plans

Strong audit, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities
