RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).

Designing a robust verifiable distributed aggregation function against malicious stakeholders.

Extending the robust design to additionally support differential privacy.

Implementing a proof-of-concept prototype of the system.

Performing security and efficiency analysis for the developed system.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines with particular focus on privacy-enhancing technologies.

Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience in cryptography and differential privacy.

Proficiency in cryptographic scheme implementation is required.

Proven track record and research experience in privacy-enhancing technologies.

Excellent working knowledge of multi-party computation and differential privacy.

Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions.

Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.

Applicants with research publications in top cybersecurity conferences will be advantageous.

Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.

Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
