Platform Automation & Observability Engineer

We are looking for an Ansible Automation and Elastic Observability Engineer to build, operate, and enhance automation and monitoring capabilities. You will design resilient systems, improve operational visibility, and ensure platform stability in a high-availability environment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement automation frameworks for infrastructure, applications, and operational processes within critical environments

Build and maintain observability capabilities, including metrics, logs, alerts, and dashboards

Develop self-healing and automated remediation solutions to improve reliability and performance

Create and manage Logstash pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and enriching data from multiple sources

Build monitoring and performance dashboards using Kibana and Grafana to track system health and key indicators

Troubleshoot Elastic Stack clusters, ingestion pipelines, and performance bottlenecks

Participate in incident response, on-call rotations, and post-incident reviews

Produce clear documentation, runbooks, and operational best practices

Support platform change activities such as upgrades, patches, and administrative tasks

Diagnose and resolve complex issues across Elastic and Ansible components

Requirements:

Hands-on experience with ELK Stack

Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and command-line tooling

Good understanding of distributed systems and system performance concepts

Experience with containers such as Docker and Kubernetes

Solid grasp of observability concepts across metrics, logs, and traces

Exposure to APM and distributed tracing tools

Programming experience in Python, Java, or similar languages for automation and extensions

Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

Scripting experience using Bash and or PowerShell

Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform is an advantage
