The Technology Division at BCS is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and support of BCS applications such as FAST, Giro, CTS, PayNow, SGQR, TFR, eGIRO and its critical infrastructure, ensuring its operational stability, regulatory compliance, and service reliability.

The IT Infrastructure Department under Technology ensures the resilience, security, and high-performance of BCS' technology infrastructure across various functions of service monitoring, incident management, and technical support. The team ensures seamless operation, maintenance, and strategic growth of core infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage, middleware, and databases.

The Windows System Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining and optimising the organisation's Windows-based infrastructure. This role will ensure the availability, reliability, security and performance of Windows servers, systems, and related infrastructure to support business operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform setup, system administration in a heterogeneous environment comprising of Linux and Windows-based Servers

Implement operating system and product-specific security hardening and patches

Perform performance tuning and capacity planning when needed

Implement the underlying processes supporting IT service management, such as configuration management and incident and problem management

Manage the user administration from Active Directory

Manage GPO for Windows 10,11, 2022 from Active Directory

Manage and configure the Windows workstations and Laptops

Manage and configure Monitoring applications like SolarWinds, OBM

Manage and configure Windows Patching using WSUS

Manage and experience Windows workstations(ENDPOINTS)

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration and supporting Microsoft Windows

Skills and Knowledge

Proven experience in performing OS hardening and patching

Sound working experience in Windows and VMWare Virtualization

Experience in scripting for Windows to automate tasks

Familiar with data center operations

Strong interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as in a team

Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Self-starter and possess a customer-oriented mindset

Resilient, ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work on shift basis to support 24/7 operations

Professional Certifications

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
