Data Analyst - Data & AI

Role Summary

The Data Analyst(PMO) supports Thong Siek Global's digital transformation by building data foundations, developing analytics and dashboards, and enabling fact-based decision-making across transformation, digitalisation, automation, and operational excellence projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define data requirements, success metrics, and KPIs for digital transformation initiatives.

Track programme performance, benefits realisation, and ROI for digitalisation projects.

Design, extract, clean, and consolidate data from ERP, operational logs, and other sources.

Establish structured datasets, data models, and automated pipelines for reporting.

Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Design and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel).

Support system integration and data alignment across digital platforms.

Support data standards, documentation, and compliance with governance requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience

Degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics or related disciplines.

Fresh graduates welcome experience in transformation or business analytics is a plus.

Technical Competencies

Advanced Excel (data modelling, Power Query, complex formulas, pivot tables).

Experience with BI tools such as Power BI (DAX, dashboards).

Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Familiarity with ERP or enterprise systems data structures (manufacturing/FMCG preferred).

Understanding of KPIs, performance management, and benefits tracking
