Assembler (Packout)

About the role

This role involves assembling server chassis, hard drives, and related components according to work instructions and procedures. You will assemble server racks and cabinets to specifications, perform server assembly activities on the production line, and support unpacking, packaging, rack build and other production-related activities.

Key responsibilities

Assemble server chassis, hard drives and related components according to work instructions and procedures

Assemble server racks and cabinets according to specifications

Perform server assembly activities on the production line

Support unpacking, packaging, rack build and other production-related activities

Use hand tools and assembly equipment, including screwdrivers, as required

Perform basic checks to ensure assembled products meet required specifications

Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the work area

Follow workplace safety procedures and company requirements

Work on shifts as required

About you

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in assembly, manufacturing, production or a related environment

Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec, vocational or equivalent technical qualification

Experience using screwdrivers and basic assembly tools

Basic computer skills

Good attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions

Able to work in a production environment involving prolonged standing

Able to perform work involving occasional ladder use or working at heights, where required

Able to handle and move items according to applicable workplace safety requirements

- Location: Tampines (Near IKEA)

- Working Hours: 8am - 8pm (Day Shift) / 8pm - 8am (Night Shift)

- Fixed Sunday Rest Day

Shift Allowance:

- Day Shift: SGD 12/per day

- Night Shift: SGD 24/per day

- Premium Allowance: SGD 15/per day

- Work Pattern: Shift work required
