Project Engineer - PLC / SCADA Systems - Apr 2026 (Internal Use)

Role Overview

The Project Engineer supports the delivery of PLC/SCADA projects through detailed engineering design, system integration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance. This role requires strong technical fundamentals, hands‑on execution, effective coordination with customers and internal teams, and the ability to troubleshoot system issues independently.

Key Responsibilities

Execute detailed engineering design, prototype development, testing, commissioning, and handover of completed PLC/SCADA systems.

Coordinate with customers and internal project teams to ensure effective planning, smooth execution, and adherence to project schedules.

Support and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at both company premises and customer sites.

Perform hardware and software integration, including PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and system implementation.

Carry out engineering, integration, and maintenance works in compliance with quality assurance and technical standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage application program changes, hardware deployment, configuration updates, and accurate maintenance of technical documentation.

Implement PLC/SCADA systems from conceptual design through programming and deployment, under supervision where required.

Interface with SCADA and PLC systems across different platforms and subsystems.

Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation, and support client meetings and technical discussions.

Independently perform system troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and issue resolution during testing, commissioning, and operational support.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or higher qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent discipline. Open to university fresh graduates.

1–2 years of hands‑on experience in PLC/SCADA or industrial automation projects.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, plans, and technical drawings.

Capable of working under pressure, handling multiple tasks, and meeting project deadlines.

Good coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
