Project Manager - Cybersecurity

Brief Summary Join a dynamic team as a Project Manager, where you'll lead impactful projects focused on IT risk, governance, and compliance. This role calls for a detail-oriented leader with a strong project management background.

Responsibilities Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity projects, including Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Asset Discovery, Risk Assessment, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocations to ensure timely and on-target delivery. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and proactively communicate these to relevant parties. Produce and present project status updates, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders and management. Facilitate IT risk assessment projects by identifying risks, conducting impact and likelihood analyses, and formulating risk treatment strategies. Collaborate effectively with IT, security, and business teams to evaluate existing controls and identify improvement opportunities. Maintain open lines of communication with all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management with a focus on IT risk, governance, or compliance. Strong understanding of IT risk assessment methodologies and risk management processes. Familiarity with GRC frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST is a plus. Robust project management skills, encompassing planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and reporting. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and effectively engage with various stakeholders. Comprehensive knowledge of IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity principles. Proficient presentation skills with the ability to create impactful presentations for project kick-offs and updates. A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a positive work ethic.
