M56 - Full Stack Engineer (Outsystems)

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews

Design, build, and deploy applications using OutSystems

Translate business requirements into automated workflows, forms and process logic, working closely with the cross-functional Scrum team and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational needs

Take ownership of day-to-day technical decision-making on system architecture, code quality, resilience, security and platform implementation, ensuring alignment with company's platform governance standards and system architecture

Deliver features through the full sprint cycle

Manage deployment lifecycle and performance optimisation

Act as technical escalation point for integration, performance, security and platform limitation risks, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive resolution and ensure delivery continuity

Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications, including technical specifications and support materials

Requirements

7 + years OutSystems development and architect experience

OutSystems certification (OutSystems Expert Developer or higher)

Experience in leading a team of engineers in delivering end-to-end digital products

Experience in agile-scrum methodology, DevOps practices and end-to-end project lifecycle

Experience building government or public sector digital products

Experience in integrating legacy systems into a modern platform

Desirable Experience

Experience in OutSystems-based delivery

Experience in handling legacy tech systems

Good knowledge of the government ICT policies and standards

Experience in integrating applications with AI or machine learning services
