System Control Engineer

Brief Summary

Join our dynamic solution engineering team as a System Control Engineer. This hands-on position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of electrical and automation systems for innovative green vessels.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of vessel electrical and automation systems. Prepare, interpret, and update electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Support the programming of PLCs and configuration of VFDs, motor controllers, and motion control systems. Work with breakers, contactors, and control panels to facilitate system integration. Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and vessel commissioning. Troubleshoot system issues with guidance from senior engineers. Ensure compliance of designs with class, safety, and quality standards. Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in industrial automation or control engineering. Basic knowledge of PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting. Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn. Familiarity with marine systems is advantageous.
