Solution Architect (Cloud)

Job Description

Experience Requirements

8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or solution design.

3+ years of experience in presales or customer-facing architecture roles.

Proven experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and/or government sector clients in Singapore.

Engage customers to understand their business objectives, technical challenges, and compliance requirements.

Conduct technical discovery workshops, solution walkthroughs, and architecture presentations.

Collaborate closely with account and sales teams to support sales pursuits, proposals, and RFP responses.

Provide technical leadership throughout the presales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through proposal submission.

Design end-to-end cloud architectures across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Huawei Cloud (good to have).

Develop architecture solutions for:

Cloud migration initiatives

Hybrid cloud deployments

Multi-cloud environments

Application modernization programs

Design and document cloud landing zones, networking, identity management, and security architectures.

Design cloud solutions aligned with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) requirements.

Ensure architectures comply with relevant security, governance, and regulatory standards, including:

IM8 guidelines

MTCS requirements

Data protection and security zoning principles

Support security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and compliance discussions with customers and stakeholders.

Cloud Platforms

Strong hands-on experience in at least two of the following cloud platforms:

Microsoft Azure

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Huawei Cloud (working knowledge preferred)

Experience designing high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery solutions.
