The Role
We are seeking an HPC & Scientific Computing Engineer to support mission-critical modeling, simulation, and AI applications running on Linux-based HPC and cloud environments. You will work closely with scientists, engineers, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing research platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, manage, and optimize scientific applications such as Ansys, Schrodinger, AMS, and OpenFOAM.
Build and maintain Linux-based HPC clusters using SLURM.
Support cloud HPC workloads across GCP, Azure, and AWS.
Manage software licensing infrastructure including FlexLM and DSLS.
Enable AI-powered engineering and simulation workflows.
Automate operations and improve platform performance, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with research and engineering teams to support computational workloads.
Requirements
Experience with HPC, Linux, and cloud infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with SLURM, PBS, or LSF.
Knowledge of scientific computing, simulation, CFD, FEA, DFT, or Molecular Dynamics.
Experience with Docker, Terraform, Ansible, or Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Familiarity with distributed storage technologies such as Lustre, GPFS, or Ceph.
Exposure to AI/ML platforms, MLOps, Vertex AI, or scientific computing environments is advantageous.
