The Team

The department of Corporate and Support Functions IT (CSI) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk and finance applications, used by end users worldwide. Our Risks IT (RIT) section handles applications responsible for risk data collection, risk calculation and monitoring for CA-CIB worldwide.

Responsibilities

Development & Implementation:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based batch/UI applications using Spring and Hibernate framework

Develop ETL modules to process files from various sources (XML, CSV, position files)

Build and integrate REST APIs for data exchange between systems

Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures for data manipulation in SQL Server

DevOps & Automation:

Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GITLAB CI

Develop shell scripts for batch applications

Configure and manage job workflows in Control-M and Apache Airflow

Support containerization efforts using Docker and Kubernetes

Quality & Collaboration:

Document technical designs, processes, and system configurations

Write unit tests using JUnit and integration tests

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Qualifications and Profile

Work Experience

2+ years of experience in Java

Functional

Basic understanding of banking domain

Technical Skills Required:

Database: SQL Server (Oracle knowledge is a plus)

Version Control: Git

Build Tools: Maven

CI/CD: Jenkins, GITLAB CI

Basic knowledge of shell scripting

Experience with file processing (XML, CSV, position files)

Understanding of REST API development

Orchestration tools: Control-M, Apache Airflow

NoSQL: Elastic Search

Messaging: Kafka

Python scripting

Testing frameworks: JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium

File transfer protocols and CFT

Use of Github Copilot for development
