Senior Java Developer (Integration) - Banking

We are looking for a

Senior Java Developer (Integration)

to join our client's technology team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain enterprise integration solutions using

Java, Spring Boot and Apache Camel

.

Develop and maintain Camel routes, components and message mediation flows.

Integrate applications and services using REST/SOAP APIs and messaging technologies.

Work with messaging platforms such as

Kafka, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ

.

Support applications in production, including incident investigation, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Contribute to performance tuning, capacity planning, application upgrades and migrations.

Work with containerized environments including

Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift

.

Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure and business teams to deliver reliable integration services.

Follow CI/CD and DevOps practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab or Azure DevOps.

Requirements

10+ years of professional technology experience

.

Strong hands-on experience with

Java

and

Spring Boot

.

Solid commercial experience with

Apache Camel

and enterprise integration patterns.

Experience developing and supporting production-grade integration solutions.

Good understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML and XSLT.

Experience with enterprise messaging technologies such as

Kafka, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ

.

Experience with

Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift

.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in large-scale enterprise or financial-services environments is highly desirable.
