Robotics Product & Solution Intern

Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Robotics Product, Solutioning & Demo Intern to support product development, customer solutioning, demonstrations, exhibitions, events, and field trials. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience across the robotics product lifecycle, from understanding customer requirements and developing use cases to testing solutions and supporting live demonstrations in real-world environments.

Responsibilities

Assist in gathering and documenting customer requirements, user needs, workflows, and use cases

Support the preparation of product requirements, user stories, test cases, acceptance criteria, and enhancement requests

Conduct basic market, competitor, and technology research to support product planning and solution development

Assist in translating customer needs into practical robotics solution concepts, process flows, and deployment assumptions

Support product testing, user acceptance testing, and structured feedback collection

Help prepare product and solution materials, including feature summaries, presentation slides, FAQs, user guides, and briefing notes

Assist with the setup, deployment, operation, and teardown of robotic systems at customer sites, exhibitions, demonstrations, and events

Support robot operations during live demonstrations, showcases, proof-of-concepts, and field trials

Prepare demo scripts, workflows, readiness checklists, equipment lists, and supporting materials

Assist in basic troubleshooting, diagnostics, testing, and maintenance of robotic platforms

Participate in pre-deployment and pre-event testing activities, including occasional night testing where required

Support logistics planning, transportation, and positioning of robots and related equipment

Work closely with commercial, product, engineering, project, and deployment teams to ensure solution and demo readiness

Engage with visitors or customers during demonstrations where appropriate and capture questions and feedback

Document demo outcomes, product issues, customer feedback, lessons learned, risks, and follow-up actions

Adhere to safety requirements, site rules, and operational procedures at all times

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Product Design, Business, or a related discipline

Strong interest in robotics, automation, product development, customer solutioning, and emerging technologies

Comfortable with both desk-based work and hands-on technical work in dynamic environments

Basic understanding of robotics systems, sensors, software, or product development processes is advantageous but not mandatory

Good problem-solving, communication, documentation, and presentation skills

Able to organise information clearly and use Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Able to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team

Willing to support flexible work schedules when project requirements arise
