Software Quality Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality.

Design and enhance testing frameworks, test plans, and regression test suites.

Perform functional, exploratory, integration, cross-platform, and performance testing across web and mobile applications (iOS and Android).

Validate product features against business and technical requirements.

Identify defects, edge cases, and quality risks, working closely with developers to resolve issues.

Conduct system integration testing with external systems and prepare test reports.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Agile delivery and CI/CD practices.

Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and quality engineering standards.

Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or a related field.

Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber.

Good understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.

Knowledge of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and test automation frameworks.

Experience in performance, load, and security testing.

Familiarity with web technologies such as React.js and Node.js, and mobile applications developed using React Native.

Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Relevant Software Quality Assurance certifications will be an advantage.
