Cloud Engineer

Cloud Engineer (1-Year Contract) Our client is a leading Corporate and Investment Banking organisation with a well-established Information Systems and Technology Centre in Singapore

Three Key Technical Skills 1. Cloud Platform Engineering

Hands-on administration and support of AWS and/or GCP production environments

Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

Cloud platform automation, security, governance, and operational support

Experience supporting highly available enterprise cloud services

2. Kubernetes & DevOps Platform Engineering

Production support and administration of Docker and Kubernetes clusters

CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, Git, and Ansible

Container orchestration, deployment automation, and platform reliability engineering

Monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of containerized workloads

3. Middleware & Production Engineering

Hands-on support of enterprise middleware platforms including Kafka, WebSphere, JBoss, WildFly, Tomcat, or Apache

Root cause analysis, performance tuning, incident management, and problem management

Experience supporting mission-critical production environments with strict availability requirements

Working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes

Technical Requirements Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud, container, middleware, or platform engineering environments.

Practical experience with AWS, GCP, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes .

Hands-on experience in production troubleshooting and performance analysis.

Strong scripting capabilities using Python, Bash, Unix Shell, PowerShell, or Java .

Experience working within DevOps and Continuous Delivery environments.

Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and service management platforms.

Knowledge of modern AI architecture concepts including LLM, RAG, Agentic AI, and MCP would be advantageous.
