Application Engineer (Automation / PLC / SCADA)

Job Description

Salary Range: $3800 to $5200 + AWS+ VB

Working location: North-east

Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Responsibilities

Design and develop application solutions based on customer requirements.

Configure and support PLC, SCADA, HMI and industrial control system applications.

Prepare technical proposals, solution architecture, functional specifications and engineering documentation.

Provide technical support during project implementation, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and commissioning.

Conduct system testing, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.

Work closely with project engineers, sales teams and customers to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Prepare user manuals and conduct customer training when required.

Provide post-project technical support and resolve application-related issues.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related discipline.

Experience in PLC, SCADA, HMI, industrial networking or automation systems will be an advantage.

Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, Profibus or BACnet is preferred.

Able to interpret electrical drawings and control system documentation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
