Job Summary

Develop and maintain SALES and PRICE applications supporting pre-trade and deal booking workflows. Collaborate with business users and IT teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions that enhance sales and trading operations.

Responsibilities

Lead technology design and propose architectural and operational improvements for SALES and PRICE applications

Develop, test, and deliver high-quality, fully tested source code within deadlines and coding standards

Collaborate with business analysts to clarify and understand requirements for feature development

Manage deployment and change processes for software solutions and platforms

Develop and execute test strategies in coordination with project managers and business analysts

Provide technical support during user acceptance testing to ensure solution readiness

Analyze and resolve production incidents and enhancement requests promptly to maintain application stability

Document software deliveries and maintain clear communication with business users and IT teams

Monitor software performance and quality to identify and implement optimizations

Apply monthly release strategies aligned with team milestones for analysis, coding, and testing

Support production release roadmaps and perform level 3 application support including troubleshooting and issue resolution

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance development and operational efficiency

Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to increase productivity and improve problem-solving

Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, and alignment with business needs

Identify opportunities to integrate AI and automation into existing workflows and processes

Required competencies and certifications

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or related fields

Minimum 12 years of software development experience, including at least 8 years in front-end development

Advanced proficiency in Angular 19+ with deep knowledge of AG Grid, NgRx store, Angular signals, and signal store

Experience conducting code reviews and enforcing Angular development best practices

Ability to ensure consistency and homogeneity across front-end implementations

Experience developing automated BDD tests

Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, and FastAPI for back-end development and maintenance

Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture, GitOps, ArgoCD, Maven, and Git

Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and Ansible

Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Elasticsearch

Experience with cloud-native architecture and AWS, including understanding distributed systems and scalability patterns

Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis

Ability to analyze code execution flow and debug without a debugger

Proficiency with static analysis tools such as SonarQube

Good knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis) or SQL-inspired dialects (e.g., HQL)

Experience writing and maintaining integration tests

Experience using Jira or similar issue-tracking systems

Commitment to software craftsmanship and DevOps culture

Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, including prompt engineering, model limitations, and best practices for human-AI collaboration

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Knowledge of web development fundamentals including HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, ReactJS

Familiarity with Linux and bash scripting

Experience with JupyterLab, JupyterHub, Jupyter notebook, and Mercury ecosystem

Interest or understanding of finance and financial markets, especially interest rate derivatives (IRS, Forwards, Futures, Swaptions)

Other Information

Working Hours

Work hours: 8:45 am - 6:30 pm SGT

Participate in on-call rotation with teammates for night and weekend support as needed
