Platform Operations Engineer

Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Support cloud-hosted applications to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.

Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.

Monitor platform health through logging, monitoring, and observability tools.

Manage incidents, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes, including root cause analysis and remediation.

Ensure compliance with security, governance, audit, and operational requirements.

Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to support platform operations and continuous improvement.

Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

3 to 7 years of experience in Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, or DevOps roles.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.

Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.

Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and operational support.

Understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance requirements.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred

Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent).

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).

Exposure to container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience supporting enterprise or government systems.
