According to statistics, 1 in 4 Singaporeans die of cancer each year. Hence, public education on cancer prevention strategies and cancer screening are vital. Reporting to the Manager, you will be in charge of specific cancer awareness campaigns to promote upstream cancer prevention, corporate engagement projects and to work on ad-hoc projects when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Cancer Awareness Campaign
Execute concepts through various platforms such as media and publicity – media buy, collaterals, video production
Digital media buy
Organise virtual and ground activities – webinars, forums, talks, exhibitions and roadshows
Coordinate sub-committee meetings
Provide secretariat support for the sub committees – Minutes, agenda, reports
Work with colleagues in/outside department to seek sponsorships and collaboration
Working with partners to solicited for funding for the campaigns
To identify potential influencers/ faces for the various campaigns
Sponsors Engagement
Proposal writing
Pitching and presentation
Research on cancer topics
Liaising with POCs for follow-ups
Reporting writing and submission
Support Functions
Annual report write up for the campaigns
Manage phone calls for events registrations and taking other queries
Assist in department events and activities
Qualifications and Competencies
Degree, Preferably in Marketing & Communications or Health promotion/ Healthcare management
Preferably with 4 years of relevant experience
Able to work in a fast paced environment and on selected weekends
Team player who can work with people from different backgrounds
Able to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders.
