Urgent ! Infrastructure Support Engineer (1 year contract)

Job Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, storage and backup systems.

Perform routine checks and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.

Support Windows and Linux server environments.

Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Server, SQL Server and Microsoft 365.

Support VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization environments.

Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD), RDS and end-user computing systems.

Monitor network, WAN connectivity and basic network security.

Assist with system upgrades, maintenance and infrastructure improvements.

Respond to IT infrastructure incidents and provide timely solutions.

Escalate complex issues to senior team members when required.

Maintain proper documentation of incidents, maintenance and solutions.

Support cybersecurity activities such as vulnerability monitoring and system updates.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.

2-3 years of experience

in IT infrastructure support, preferably with Server, Storage and Backup.

Experience with

Windows & Linux

environments.

Knowledge of

VMware / Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, AD and networking .

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work well in a team.
