Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain network and web application security solutions.

Implement and support F5 solutions, including LTM, ASM/AWAF, DDoS Protection , and F5 Distributed Cloud (XC) DDoS services.

Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Imperva security solutions, including WAF, DDoS Protection, and API Security .

Configure and optimize WAAP (Web Application & API Protection) solutions to safeguard web applications and APIs.

Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely mitigation of cyber threats.

Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network and security-related issues.

Collaborate with internal teams and customers to implement security best practices and ensure solution availability.

Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and implementation guides.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

3-5 years of hands-on experience in network and cybersecurity.

Strong experience with: F5 (LTM, ASM/AWAF, DDoS Protection) F5 Distributed Cloud (XC) DDoSWAAP (Web Application & API Protection) technologies Imperva (WAF, DDoS Protection, API Security)

Experience in implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting web application security solutions.

Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, DNS , and networking fundamentals.

Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, attack mitigation techniques, and incident response.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant certifications such as F5 Certified , Imperva , or other cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage
