Test Engineer

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 6pm

Location: Changi East

Responsibilities

Collaborate with AV vendors to develop and adapt new features to suit operational environments (e.g. emergency vehicle prioritisation, roadwork navigation, and smart traffic light integration)

Oversee the integration of the AV Fleet Management System with external platforms to enable enhanced functionalities

Design and execute scenario-based testing to validate system performance and operational readiness

Recommend system enhancements and ensure feature compliance with relevant AV safety regulations

Conduct safety testing and assessments to ensure reliability and regulatory adherence of new features

Assist in designing and implementing cloud-based / on-prem architecture

Ensure compliance with IT security and governance requirements

Supervise over-the-air (OTA) software updates deployed by AV vendors to ensure seamless implementation

Lead the development and implementation of the Command & Control (C2) system for AV operations

Collaborate with telecommunications providers to ensure stable, secure, and high-performance 4G/5G network connectivity for remote supervision

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar

Minimum 3 years of experience in software or system testing for autonomous systems, robotics, or ADAS/AV features

Experience in designing and executing scenario‑based tests and requirements‑to‑test traceability

Exposure to fleet management systems (FMS) and system integrations (APIs, message buses)

Basic knowledge of cloud/on-prem design, system design principles, including how robotic/AV systems interface with other enterprise IT infrastructure, basic networking and communication protocols, cybersecurity practices and SDLC
