Embedded Software Engineer, C++

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to design and develop software solutions that enable connectivity and control of measurement devices across the Field, Edge, and Cloud . You will work in a multidisciplinary team of Firmware Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and Physicists to bring advanced measurement solutions to market.

In this role, you will also contribute to cloud-based solutions that enhance the Digital Experience of remotely connected IIoT devices.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in C++ and C# programming , experience in Windows and Linux application development , and knowledge of communication protocols and messaging systems . Main Responsibilities

Build prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing; set up and run lab simulations.

Develop and maintain high-quality software for cloud and on-premise services and applications.

Stay current with cutting-edge IoT-related technologies.

Share expertise throughout the organization and provide user training for products.

Evaluate engineering approaches and risks to develop production plans that ensure high-quality, cost-effective products.

Author technical reports, papers, articles, patents, and presentations.

Develop and maintain Azure DevOps release pipelines.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Petrophysics, or a related field.

5+ years of experience developing cloud and/or on-premise services and applications.

Proficiency in C# / .NET and C++ .

Deep understanding of one of the following platforms: Linux, Windows, or Embedded Linux (e.g., Yocto) .
