Description
Purpose: Strategic planning and develop cost effective & low risk manufacturing/assembly process steps/planning from raw material to completion including special processes through Product Quality Plan (PQP).
Key Area of Responsibilities:
Transfer of Project, Technology, System from customer to VDL for New product development.
Define and establish Project Plan for Assembly to meet on time delivery.
Feasibility study for New Assembly.
Identify the facilities/supplies required for the assembly.
Define and establish Project Plan for Assembly to meet on time delivery.
Resolve technical issues in assembly to ensure smooth production.
Manage technical changes to fulfill customer requirement.
Implement improvements to processes for cost effectiveness.
Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical or Precision Engineering or other relevant discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a process engineer in the Semiconductor industry or equivalent.
Mechanical and electrical workmanship
Experience in working in cleanroom will be an advantage
Good problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions
Good communication skills
