Application Ops Engineer (CI/CD Automation)

Job Description & Requirements

Main responsibilities

You will mainly be responsible for:

Work in close collaboration with software development teams, security team and operation teams to automate, streamline and optimize the application deployment operations and processes.

Maintain and improve existing workflow processes and framework.

Identify, plan and drive the development of tools to reduce operational cost and improve customer experience.

Animate discussions (including trainings) with IT operation teams to promote DevOps model within the department.

Qualifications and Profile

Technical

Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments with experience in scripting (Python, Bash, Shell, or equivalent scripting languages) and automation.

Basic knowledge of Windows scripting and Active Directory.

Experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role, including hands‑on implementation of deployment automation and orchestration solution

Experience administering or supporting Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.

Comfortable in Agile working environment.

Experience applying software design principles, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices.

Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools; Jenkins, TFS,Git,Ansible, Selenium, Docker.

Familiarity with one or more observability tools such asGrafana, Kibana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Dynatrace or any equivalent tool.

Familiarity with enterprise task scheduling tools such asControl-Mor comparable workload automation platforms.
