Job Responsibilities

Assist in developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot

Support implementation of REST APIs and microservices architecture

Work on event‑driven integrations using Kafka (basic exposure / learning)

Participate in various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Assist in API integration, data transformation, and middleware flows

Support debugging, defect fixing, and troubleshooting activities

Contribute to technical documentation (API specs, design)

Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams

Participate in code reviews and learning sessions

Qualifications

Education & Certification: Diploma or degree in IT related courses

Applicant must be a full‑time matriculated student

Hands‑on development experience and demonstrate strong understanding of fundamentals of requirements specification, design, coding, and testing of information systems

Experience with software design patterns

Some experience in Java Spring Boot and Camel

Some experience in using Confluent Kafka

Some experience in using RDBMS – MS SQL Server

Some experience in REST based APIs using JSON and web services

Experience with version control systems – Git, GitHub or Azure DevOps

Applies well‑defined and disciplined development, implementation, and production processes

Proven and demonstrable hands‑on experience in developing high‑availability, multi‑tiered and secure web applications

Good debugging and troubleshooting skills

Must have worked on IDEs – STS, IntelliJ, VSCode
