Job Description support applications
troubleshoot and resolve bugs
work with development vendor
analyse incidents and recommend resolution options
restore working order
provide root cause analysis
provide short-term workaround
provide long-term solution
provide support from UAT to implementation to maintenance stages to audit
recommend areas for improvement, including automation of manual tasks
assume role of subject matter expert to end users
escalate issues to stakeholders
document application procedure
Qualifications diploma or degree in IT or related discipline
working experience in Unix
working experience in DB2, Oracle and SFTP, though not mandatory is advantageous
excellent working attitude
a curious and never-say-die attitude
team player but can work independently
