Cleanroom Assembly Technician

Key Responsibilities

Cleanroom Assembly: Perform assembly of precision components in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict cleanliness and contamination control protocols.

Helicoils Installation: Install Helicoils into components as per engineering specifications and standards, ensuring proper installation to maintain component integrity and performance.

Helium Leak Testing: Conduct helium leak testing on assembled components to ensure they meet leak‑tightness requirements and identify and address any leaks or defects.

Quality Control: Inspect assembled components for defects and ensure they meet quality standards, document inspection results, and report any non‑conformities.

Process Documentation: Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation of assembly processes, including work instructions, inspection records, and test results.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that assembly and testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated; report any equipment issues to the maintenance team.

Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure smooth assembly processes and high‑quality output.

Qualifications

Education: Technical Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in cleanroom assembly, preferably in the precision manufacturing industry.

Skills: Proficiency in Helicoils installation and helium leak testing; strong attention to detail and manual dexterity; knowledge of cleanroom protocols and contamination control; ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications; excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills; good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other precision assembly techniques and testing methods.

Familiarity with ISO 14644 cleanroom standards.
