Key Responsibilities Monitor and inspect civil construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and ITPs.
Prepare and maintain ITPs, checklists, inspection requests, test reports, NCRs and QA/QC records .
Conduct inspections for concrete, reinforcement, earthworks, drainage, roadworks, structural and finishing works.
Coordinate material inspections, laboratory testing and site testing.
Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs and ensure timely corrective action and closure.
Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, QP/RE/RTO and subcontractors.
Monitor subcontractor quality and workmanship.
Support ISO 9001 , internal audits and client/consultant audits.
Maintain quality records and prepare periodic QA/QC reports.
Promote Right First Time and continuous improvement.
Requirements Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field .
3-5 years' experience in construction QA/QC.
Singapore construction experience preferred.
Experience in industrial, petrochemical, oil & gas, Jurong Island or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ITPs, NCR/CAR, concrete, earthworks, drainage and roadworks .
Good understanding of drawings, specifications and construction standards.
Good communication, documentation and coordination skills.
CONQUAS/Quality-related certification is an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate A hands-on QC Engineer who can work independently at site, identify quality issues early, coordinate inspections, control subcontractor quality and ensure proper documentation and timely NCR closure.
