Join us as a Sales / Senior Sales Engineer for the Motion Business Area where you will be responsible for sales of products/systems/services within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Achieving both qualitative and quantitative sales targets in a profitable way, order growth, revenues, profitability, market share and customer satisfaction. Building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues.
This position reports to the Sales Manager and based in Singapore.
Your responsibilities Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned divisions
Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and aligning to provide a solution
Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
Creating added value for the customer and ABB, ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques
Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers
Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager
Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions
Your background Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Possess ideally over 5 years of Sales experience, but entry applicants are welcome to apply
Possess Channel Management experience is desirable
Good interpersonal and communications skills
