Senior Engineer/Principal Engineer (Power Transmission Planning)

What You'll Do: Plan transmission network expansion/developments and HVDC system to meet area load growth and generation.

Provide consultation to large customers, agencies, EMA, gencos and others for supply to large developments and other connections at 66kV voltage and above

Plan and design network connection and associated supply network for large customers taking supply at 66kV voltage and above.

Plan and design generation connection for Gencos.

Plan network reactive compensation devices for high voltage control and maximized network utilization.

Prepare Agreements with customers, Gencos and others etc.

Prepare project proposals and preparation of project paper for seeking EMA and management approval

Planning of cable route for projects and connectivity to substations and customers/gencos

What You'll Need:

Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore

Experience in planning/operation of transmission network or design of a distribution network is preferred

Experience in using power system analysis software is preferred

Preferably with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience

Possess good interpersonal skills

Able to work under pressure and cope with tight deadlines

Possess good oral and written communication skills
