Linux Backend developer

Job Description

Responsibilities

. Assist in analyzing project requirements and contribute to functional and technical designs.

. Development of backend systems for international payment gateway integrations (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UPI).

. Support migration and implementation to Base24-eps on Linux RHEL or Cloud, replacing legacy systems.

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, frontend, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

. Work with vendors, schemes and banks under guidance of technical leads.

. Develop solutions in accordance with PCI-DSS, payment security standards, and international card scheme requirements.

. Optimize performance and reliability of switching systems and backend services.

. Document system architecture, integration flows, and technical specifications.

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.

. 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on payment systems and switching platforms.

. Strong experience with Open System RHEL and AWS Cloud.

. Experience in C++, Korn Shell Script and Linux-based development.

. Experience with IBM MQ middleware will be advantages.

. Experience with Base24-eps will be advantages.

. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database.

. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
