DevSecOps Engineer

Engagement Duration: 12 months

1. Mid-Level Software Engineer / DevOps Engineer (Platform & Infrastructure)

Level:

Junior-to-mid, reports to Senior Tech Lead / SRE leadership

Core scope:

Deploy/maintain platform services on EKS via Helm; build portable configs (no cloud lock-in)

Build CI/CD pipelines

Backend/automation tooling

strictly in Golang

(no Node.js/npm/pnpm for backend)

Frontend: IRM dashboard components in

TypeScript + pnpm

, working with the PM

Monitoring/logging/alerting for platform visibility

BAU ops + on-call rotation

Participates in sprints, backlog grooming, retros, RFCs/ADRs (contributes/debates, doesn't own)

Requirements:

Strong Linux/networking/cloud-native fundamentals, hands-on or theoretical K8s/Helm, strong Golang, proficient TypeScript/pnpm, clean/tested code habits, comfortable in a structured process-heavy environment.

2. Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer (Platform & Infrastructure)

Level: Senior, leads a squad of 5–6 engineers, reports to SRE Lead

Core scope:

Owns architecture/technical direction for the K8s (EKS) deployment on GCC+

Owns portability strategy (decoupled from proprietary cloud dependencies)

Deploys/manages the IRM platform via Helm with 24/7 HA, multi-zone resilience, self-healing

Leads all backend/DevOps/SRE tooling, strictly Golang, zero-tolerance for Node.js/pnpm in backend/infra

Formally mentors/leads the engineering squad; sets code review, testing, CI/CD standards

Drives agile ceremonies; partners with PM and Singpass Engineering Manager on roadmap

Owns documentation governance — authors/reviews RFCs, maintains ADR repository

Requirements: Expert-level K8s/Helm/IaC, proven track record designing portable K8s manifests, expert Golang + solid TypeScript/pnpm oversight, strong RFC/ADR discipline, proven mentoring and translating ambiguous requirements into designs.

Preferred: Prior GCC+ production experience; experience in high-integrity/regulated environments (FinTech, Defense, HealthTech).
