Information Technology System Engineer

We are looking for an experienced

System Engineer

with around

5 years of hands-on experience

managing and securing enterprise infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

Manage, maintain and support

VMware virtualization environments

.

Administer and troubleshoot

Windows Server

infrastructure.

Perform server deployment, configuration, patching, upgrades and performance monitoring.

Implement

system hardening and security controls

based on the

Center for Internet Security (CIS) Controls and CIS Benchmarks

.

Review system configurations, identify security gaps and implement remediation measures.

Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, access controls and related Windows infrastructure services.

Support vulnerability remediation, security assessments and audit requirements.

Maintain technical documentation, configuration standards and operational procedures.

Work with infrastructure, cybersecurity and application teams to ensure secure and reliable system operations.

Requirements

Around

5 years of experience

in System Engineering / Infrastructure Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with

VMware

and

Windows Server

.

Good knowledge of

Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and related Windows services

.

Practical experience in

Windows/server hardening

and secure configuration.

Familiarity with

CIS Benchmarks / CIS Controls

and implementation of security baselines.

Understanding of vulnerability management, patch management and general infrastructure security principles.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience with

PowerShell automation, backup solutions, monitoring tools, Linux or cybersecurity projects

would be an advantage.
