MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Job Description

. Administer, develop, maintain all related engineering drawing templates.

. To follow all Group quality directives and input and suggest improvements where relevant.

. To follow the company's policy to ensure as much project scope as possible is kept within the Group.

. Ensure all the work task is following the requirement in the QMS system.

. Assist on detail drawing work as needed in a bidding and project phase.

. Prepare mechanical design drawing during basic and detail engineering.

. Prepares and develops drawings with AutoCAD for PID, Schematic diagram on process, GA drawing, Isometric Drawing, fabrication drawing, assembly drawing, installation drawing and manuals.

. Attend meeting with client from time to time subject to the project location.

. Carry out site survey in order to gain required information and/or verification of existing or new plant documentation as and when it is needed.

. Carry out and ensure good filing system for electronic and hard copy documents and is easily retrievable.

. Liaise with process engineering, fabrication, and project department in order to have a more competitive and precise design and costing.

. Maintain effective communication with all internal and external relevant disciplines.

. To continue the improvement plan for the basic and detail engineering work.

. Able to travel and stay short term on project site when needed.

Job Requirements & required skills

. Degree or diploma in engineering/construction management or equivalent.

. Minimum of 7 years' work experiences.

. Extensive knowledge and experience in AutoCAD Plant 3D.

. Excellent technical drawing skills.

. Strong communication and project management skills.

. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

. Knowledge in Revit, Navisworks, Advance Steel, Inventor is added advantage.

. Good interpersonal and presentation skills.

. Strong creative and visualization skills.

. Able to perform independently and support project team.

. Good experience in water and wastewater treatment will be added advantage.
