Java Spring Boot Technical Lead / Application Development Manager - Cards Technology

The ideal candidate will be a dependable and result oriented Technical Development Lead/Senior Developer who can comfortably work in a large development organization in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork, and collaboration. This role requires 100% Hands-on Microservice/API coding and development on skills of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Camel, JBoss, Tomcat, MQ, JMS and Web services. Well-versed in the latest trends, especially around disruptive technology, and proven record in execution. The ability to work and thrive in high pressure environment is essential. This role will report to the Application Development and Delivery Manager for the technical delivery of the projects and BAU support.

Serve as Technical Development Lead/Senior Developer to implement Enterprise Web API, Microservices and Data Modelling for the Bank with full capability /accountability for architecture deliverables (process, information, technology etc.) from concept to implementation

Lead in the preparation of technical design document and provide the clarifications to development teams during the implementation phase of the project

Advice the team on system impacted by changes and extent such change in the establishing the test scope of SIT, UAT and Production implementation

Experience in Agile development methodologies and lead the Squad team

Communicate and influence key elements of one or more technology architectures to technical and business audiences

Contributes in group strategic initiatives and decision making at a group level including product architectures and roadmaps

Interface with senior stakeholders, and other teams to get desired results

Identify opportunities to leverage technology synergies to save costs and improve efficiencies

Proactive in taking initiatives and deliver it to completion.

Requirements: Tech knowledge:

At least 10+ years of Hands own Microservice delivery experience covering below technical expertise;

Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Drools, and Apache Camel

REST, SOAP, WSDL, ESB/SOA, and IBM MQ

JBoss and standalone Spring Boot JAR applications with embedded Tomcat

API security, including Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, PKI, JCE, and JSSE

Unix/Linux scripting and Java design patterns

Git, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Veracode, and CI/CD pipelines

Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, and NoSQL databases

DevOps (Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Sonarcube, Veracode, Xraty etc)

Knowledge on the Control M activities and Linux server hands on with Jboss

Experience with at least one of Oracle, MS SQL, Maria DB or any NoSQL

Excellent communication skills and ability to lead dev team, influence the outcomes.

Excellent stakeholder management skills and able to collaborate with various teams/stakeholder including business and technical teams.

Key Domain/ Technical Skills:

Good to have

Financial domain knowledge is highly desirable

At least 6-8 years of experience in building scalable Banking and Credit Cards specific platforms

BANKING Microservice Development experience is an advantage

Good knowledge on the GenAI Tools for code analysis and development

Formal architecture certification (TOGAF or equivalent)

Good to have experience in L3 Support.
