Key responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the company's market presence.

Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and target markets within the chemical industry.

Achieve assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including business growth, new customer acquisition, revenue, and profitability targets.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, principals, distributors, and other key stakeholders.

Expand existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities for new products, applications, and value-added solutions.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and emerging business opportunities.

Prepare business proposals, quotations, sales forecasts, budgets, and regular business performance reports for Management.

Collaborate closely with Production and Customer Service teams to deliver effective customer solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contractual agreements with customers and business partners.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable Singapore regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 4 years of relevant business development or B2B sales experience in chemical, specialty chemicals, petrochemical, industrial materials, or related industries

Proven track record of achieving sales and business growth targets

Experience in managing key accounts and developing new markets

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills

Strong commercial awareness and analytical thinking
