Job Summary

Lead engineering efforts to design, implement, and optimize Azure-based cloud solutions with a focus on DevSecOps, AI integration, and infrastructure automation to drive enterprise innovation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure platform services to meet enterprise requirements

Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Azure Bicep or Terraform to automate deployments and ensure consistency

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub to enable continuous integration and delivery of software

Apply DevSecOps practices to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle and infrastructure management

Integrate AI/ML platform services on Azure to enhance application capabilities and support AI-assisted development tools

Manage enterprise identity integration using Active Directory to ensure secure and seamless access control

Produce clear, comprehensive documentation and communicate technical concepts effectively to stakeholders

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience with AI application platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, and AI governance frameworks

Ability to build developer portals, internal platforms, platform APIs, self-service workflows, or engineering templates

Familiarity with public sector cloud environments, government security standards, or regulated enterprise settings

Knowledge of observability, site reliability engineering (SRE) practices, incident response automation, and tools like Microsoft Sentinel

Understanding of FinOps principles, cloud cost optimization, total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling, and cost accountability

Exposure to engineering productivity tools including Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Azure DevOps, ShipHATS, and Copilot
