As a Security Software Engineer on Identity Lifecycle, the services you design and build will protect OPZ most valuable assets and provide a great user experience to authorized Square employees around the world. In this role, you will work with many teams across the company, including other teams within security, as well as platform engineering, IT, and Data Security Governance.

You Will

Design, develop, and own zero trust authentication and authorization platforms for OPZ's evolving corporate and production landscapes.

Scale your impact through building access control primitives that engineering teams across the company can leverage in their systems to improve their security posture

Qualifications

2+ years of industry experience

Experience developing, deploying, and monitoring systems for managing and scaling security investigations, judgements, and actions

Felling confident in micro-service environments

Bonus Skills

Knowledge and experience with Identity Management solutions, Kerberos, SSO, OAuth, or SAML

Software engineering experience in Ruby, Go, Java or other OOP languages.

Soft Skills

Experience in cloud environments (AWS preferred), Linux containers and orchestration systems (Kubernetes preferred), service mesh architectures and/or Envoy
