Research assistant in “Quantum computing engineer”
The Nanyang Quantum Solutions team led by Prof. Marek Gluza at NTU Singapore is seeking a new member to propose new quantum algorithmic solutions based on Riemannian geometry. The research group is being formed and aims to serve experimental efforts through theoretical support by developing quantum middleware solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quantum compilation optimizing towards successful execution on quantum hardware.
Support research on quantum algorithms by performing auxiliary data processing tasks.
Analyze prospects of new research directions.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or a related field.
At least one year of relevant experience in research on quantum computing, such as a final year project.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in material covered by Nielsen and Chuang’s textbook.
Ability to work independently, develop solutions under strict timelines, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills.
