Role Overview

We are looking for a

Quality Engineer

with strong experience in

RHEL server administration, VMware virtualization and test automation

to support testing and validation of cloud computing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute test conditions, test cases, scripts and test data for RHEL and VMware environments.

Support and maintain virtual testing labs and test environments.

Analyse technical requirements and develop appropriate test automation solutions.

Perform defect management, investigate issues and track resolution through JIRA.

Evaluate test results against exit criteria and prepare test summary reports.

Support service validation and testing activities within an Agile environment.

Identify opportunities for process improvement based on testing outcomes and lessons learned.

Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver quality outcomes.

Requirements

Strong experience with

RHEL / Linux server administration

.

Hands-on experience with

VMware virtualisation technologies

and cloud environments.

Good working knowledge of

Python, Bash, Ansible, JSON and YAML

.

Experience with

test automation, service validation and quality engineering

.

Knowledge of

DevOps, CI/CD and SDM workflows

.

Experience with

JIRA

and test management / automation tools such as Octane.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Comfortable working independently as well as within a fast-paced team environment.
