Application Security Architect

We are partnering with a leading Singapore-based organization seeking a senior Application Security Architecture leader to drive secure-by-design practices, enterprise security architecture and AI security initiatives across a large-scale technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead security architecture reviews and threat modelling activities across enterprise applications, cloud platforms and technology transformation initiatives.

Develop and promote secure reference architectures, security standards and design patterns to strengthen security-by-design adoption.

Partner with engineering, platform and DevOps teams to integrate security into development lifecycles and technology delivery processes.

Drive improvements in DevSecOps, security automation and developer security enablement programs.

Design and enhance enterprise identity and access management architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Establish security governance, controls and guardrails for emerging technologies, including Generative AI and AI-enabled platforms.

Provide technical leadership and influence stakeholders across business and technology teams to improve the overall security posture.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or a related discipline.

Strong software engineering background with prior hands-on development experience.

Experience leading security architecture, application security or technology consulting teams.

Strong expertise in security architecture, threat modelling, cloud security and secure system design.

Experience driving enterprise-wide security initiatives and influencing diverse stakeholder groups.

Knowledge of modern application security and DevSecOps practices, including security testing, automation and cloud-native security controls.

Exposure to AI security, AI governance and emerging technology risks would be highly advantageous.

Relevant cybersecurity or cloud certifications are preferred.
