React Native Developer (Frontend / Government Project)

We are looking for a

Frontend Developer

with strong experience in

React Native

to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to deliver reliable and user-friendly digital products.

Salary Package: Up to $10,000 (basic) + AWS

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain

mobile applications using React Native .

Develop reusable, responsive, and maintainable frontend components.

Build and enhance application features based on business and user requirements.

Integrate mobile applications with

REST APIs and backend services .

Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs and prototypes into functional applications.

Ensure applications perform consistently across

iOS and Android

devices.

Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following development best practices.

Participate in

code reviews, testing, deployment, and application releases .

Improve application performance, usability, security, and maintainability.

Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvements in development practices.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in

Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering , or a related discipline.

Relevant experience in

frontend or mobile application development .

Strong hands-on experience with

React Native .

Good knowledge of

JavaScript and/or TypeScript .

Experience with

React, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development concepts .

Experience integrating applications with

RESTful APIs .

Familiarity with state management solutions such as

Redux, Context API, Zustand , or equivalent.

Understanding of mobile application development for

iOS and Android .

Experience with

Git and CI/CD development workflows .

Good understanding of software development practices, testing, debugging, and code quality.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Able to work effectively in an

Agile development environment .

Good to Have

Experience with native

iOS or Android development .

Knowledge of

Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java .

Experience with mobile application deployment to the

Apple App Store and Google Play Store .

Experience with automated testing tools such as

Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox , or similar.

Knowledge of mobile application

security, authentication, and secure storage .

Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps/CI/CD tools.

Experience developing

large-scale consumer or enterprise mobile applications .

This role is suitable for a frontend/mobile developer who is hands-on with

React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, API integration, and cross-platform mobile application development .
