Aerospace Process Improvement Engineer

ALG is currently hiring a

Process Improvement Engineer

for a leading aerospace and manufacturing organisation in Singapore. This is a 1-year renewable contract role, that will focus on

continuous process improvement, Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence

.

Job Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using

Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and structured problem-solving

.

Conduct

VSM, process mapping, RCA, FMEA, 5S and DMAIC

activities to improve productivity, quality, cost and delivery.

Identify process gaps, bottlenecks and waste, and implement sustainable improvements.

Lead and support

Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects

.

Track project progress, KPIs and improvement benefits using relevant dashboards and reporting tools.

Develop digital solutions using

Power BI, Tableau, Power Apps, Power Automate, Ignition or equivalent platforms

.

Support and coach teams in Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline

.

2-5 years of relevant experience

in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations.

Hands-on experience with

Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, VSM and structured problem-solving

.

Experience managing or supporting

cross-functional improvement projects

.

Proficiency in

data analysis and visualisation tools

, such as Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.

Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

OEM manufacturing experience

is an advantage.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

is preferred Black Belt, PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
