Field Construction Technician – Site & Systems Support

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of construction equipment, systems, and site facilities.

• Support construction teams in carrying out building, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other technical works as required.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, specifications, and work instructions.

• Conduct site inspections and assist in identifying and resolving technical issues.

• Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery safely and appropriately.

• Assist engineers, supervisors, and project teams with testing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems and equipment.

• Monitor work progress and report any defects, technical issues, or site concerns to the relevant supervisor.

• Maintain proper records of work performed, inspections, materials, and equipment used.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and site safety procedures.Perform other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in construction, building, engineering, or a related industry.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Building, or a related field is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of construction methods, tools, equipment, and site practices.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

• Willing to work in a construction site environment and adapt to project requirements.
