Internship - Software Application Logistics

The student, as part of the OSAT LOG team and under the guidance of a Senior staff specialist as mentor, will undertake projects requiring coding skills and shipping and warehouse operation support such as inbound and outbound processes and forwarder shipment monitoring.

Your Role

Reporting & Transparency Tools: Create and optimize shipping/forwarder reporting transparency applications.

Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain team dashboards in Tableau for data visualization and reporting.

Testing & Integration: Conduct road testing, implementation, and integration of new applications.

Technical Documentation: Prepare design specifications and user manuals for new application tools.

Application Development: Assist in developing application tools using object‑oriented programming languages.

System Sustainability: Maintain and ensure the sustainability of current digitalization projects.

AI & Digital Solutions: Apply knowledge of AI technologies to support digital solutions and application development.

Internship Learning Outcomes

Application Testing & Deployment: Gain hands‑on experience in road testing, implementation, and integration of new programs.

User Support & Training: Provide training, assistance, and guidance to users of new programs.

Documentation Skills: Create design specifications and user manuals for technical solutions.

Logistics Exposure: Broaden knowledge of logistics operations and industry practices.

Global MNC Experience: Gain real‑world work experience in a global multinational company.

Communication Skills: Strengthen collaboration and presentation skills through sharing sessions and teamwork.

Your Profile

Education: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related discipline.

Programming Skills: Proficient in Python, JavaScript, PHP, SQL (MySQL/Oracle), Ajax, Bootstrap, and web development frameworks.

Data Visualization: Advanced knowledge of Tableau for data visualization, blending, and dashboard design.

AI Familiarity: Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in digital solution development.

Technical Writing: Strong technical documentation skills; dashboard development experience is a bonus.

Preferred intake: January 27 – May/June 27
