Job Description

Brief Summary Join a dynamic team as a PLC & Commissioning Engineer, where your expertise will contribute to innovative marine solutions aimed at reducing carbon emissions. This role offers an opportunity to engage in hands-on development and commissioning projects in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities Develop sustainable marine solutions that align with business objectives to reduce the carbon footprint. Set up and manage test laboratories to facilitate development and testing. Design and implement PLC software and algorithms for electrical propulsion systems. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including software architecture, logic flow, testing procedures, and quality control measures. Assist in the commissioning of vessels with similar configurations. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to delivered solutions during the commissioning process. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements Minimum of an engineering degree in a relevant discipline. Strong software development skills, particularly in equipment control systems. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Hands-on approach to work and strong teamwork capabilities. Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with external stakeholders. Knowledge of power electronics, motor drives, and marine propulsion systems is advantageous.
